Gallery Refurb Part 2

Old Town Bridlington Gallery Is in the process of having a Wonderful Refurbishment.

The Bridlington Old Town Gallery is in the process of having a makeover fit for the 21st century.

Already the back room, now renamed the Bollington Room, has been transformed. It has changed from a dark room where it was difficult to see the art works. Into a beautiful, light and

airey space for viewing some great works.

The Bollington Room has now benefitted from new flooring, a beautiful open georgian sash window and wonderful new spot lighting. Even the spot lighting is fit for the 21st century as it is all LED Lighting using little energy.

The next move is to redecorate and relight the front area. This will be taking place in the middle of February.

In the meantime the first monthly Artist, Andrew Storrie has taken up residence in the Bollington Room. His art works are already making a splash with his 'Tour de Yorkshire' piece already proving popular.

Of course The Old Town Gallery and Information Point is to remain open as usual throughout the refurbishment as a major asset for the Old Town of Bridlington. So, please make your way up to The Old Town of Bridlington and see what you are missing.
